A Little Visit To The West Coast

Sorry for the late post, I had some vacationing in the west coast in California!  We went to the Alameda County Fair and we did some touring in San Francisco.  Time just slipped away!  So during the fair in Alameda County I had a great time!  Throughout the week you will be seeing posts relating to the fair and San Francisco.  So today, I just wanted to share with you the beauties of the Golden Gate bridge, our family went on boat to tour around the bay.
Viewing the Bay Bridge

Isn't it just a sight to see

Under the Golden Gate.   I couldn't get in what was really under but my was it a sight

Homemade Lip Scrub

So, to make a homemade lip scrub you need:
1/2 tsp. Olive Oil
2 tbsp.  White Sugar
1 tsp. Honey

You may use brown sugar or cane, both work well.  I enjoy white due to the graininess.

So what you do is combine them all like below, then
you should stir to the right consistency you like, in the
container you like, the container I used is a little cough
drop container

The consistency I like!

Just the little container I used.   Not too fancy!

To apply you need to just apply a good sized amount to your lips and then massage it for a good minute and then wipe it off with a wet towel.  and it will make your lips perfect!  This also makes a great gift for a birthday or a summer gift!  Tell me how you liked it!

Collecting Cilantro Seeds

Sorry about the very late post.  Well, anyways, I let my pictures guide you with wisdom! :)

So first, I let my plants grow out and seed and then they just dried up!  So we have seeds like below!  With the seeds, you would want to clench them like how I'm doing and just pull and the seeds come straight off!

Not all of the seeds make it, but that's OK, they will soon germinate for more cilantro!

But what we collect is great and will go to future crops!

Washing Our Two Little Doggies

Hello guys, so I am doing almost the first post about my dogs, and we are washing them.  Washing dogs sound easy, but is it?  Is it really?  No it is not easy, especially if they are shedding, it clogs up the bathtub and it is a pain to clean it out, so we go to our local pet store to wash our dogs, so we don't have to for one, have to clean out the bathtub, nor do we have to buy the shampoo.  All you have to do is go to your local pet shop, but first see if they have a showering station, most likely if they have one that showers your dog for you then you could do it yourself.  Why should you do it yourself?  It is much cheaper and you could wash them however you want!   This is the way I do it!  Now for the slide show of pictures!!
